This Privacy Policy explains how Momo Dictation ("the app", "we", "us") handles your information. We built this app to help parents and tutors in Hong Kong run Chinese and English dictation practice with their children. We collect as little data as possible.
When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive a user ID and your name and email address (or, if you use Apple's "Hide My Email", a private relay email). This is handled through Google Firebase Authentication and is used only to create and secure your account.
If you use the "scan from photo" feature, the photo you take is sent to our secure server (a Firebase Cloud Function), which forwards it to Google Cloud Vision to recognise the text on the page. We use the photo only to extract the words for your dictation list. The photo is processed at that moment and is not stored on our servers.
If you use the camera/selfie feature with the Momo mascot, those photos stay on your device and are saved only to your own photo album. They are never uploaded to us or anyone else.
The dictation lists, tags and playback settings you create are stored on your device. If account sync is enabled, they may also be stored in your account so you don't lose them.

The app is intended to be set up and managed by an adult (a parent or tutor). Accounts are created by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The photos you scan are of textbook or worksheet pages, not personal data about a child.
You can delete your account and the data associated with it from within the app, or by emailing us at the address below and we will delete it. Lists stored only on your device are removed when you delete the app.
We use reputable providers (Apple, Google Firebase) and industry-standard security to protect your information. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed.

本私隱政策說明「默書不求人」（下稱「本應用程式」、「我們」）如何處理你的資料。本應用程式 旨在幫助香港家長及補習老師為小朋友進行中、英文默書練習。我們只會收集最少量的必要資料。
當你使用 Apple 或 Google 登入時，我們會收到一個使用者 識別碼，以及你的姓名和電郵地址（如使用 Apple「隱藏我的電郵」，則為 Apple 提供的轉寄電郵）。 此程序由 Google Firebase Authentication 處理，僅用於建立及保護你的帳戶。

你建立的默書清單、標籤及播放設定會儲存在你的裝置上。如啟用帳戶同步，亦可能儲存於你的帳戶， 以免遺失。
本應用程式使用以下服務，各自設有獨立的私隱政策：
本應用程式須由成人（家長或補習老師）設定及管理，帳戶亦由成人建立。我們不會在知情下收集兒童 的個人資料。你拍攝辨識的相片為課本或練習頁面，並非兒童的個人資料。
你可在應用程式內刪除你的帳戶及相關資料，或以下方電郵聯絡我們，我們會為你刪除。只儲存在裝置 上的清單，會在你刪除應用程式時一併移除。
我們採用具信譽的服務供應商（Apple、Google Firebase）及業界標準的保安措施保護你的資料。 互聯網上的傳送方式並非百分百安全，但我們會採取合理措施保護你的資料。
我們可能會不時更新本政策，頂部的「最後更新」日期會顯示最近修改的時間。
